We can create a regenerative womb to heal in while the world burns down.

Emerge and show people how to not be idiots. Not to disparage the Make a Wish foundation, necessarily, but an excellent case of lavish spending on one while many starve, that America might feel good about itself.

As for the Judge thing, couldn't get past the log-in wall, or didn't try. But yeah...I think about writing a post, how WWI was about Nation-States funded by uber bankers undid the old order of Aristocracy and Kings, and WWIII will be about uber banks funding corporations to undo the old order of Nation-States.

As for the orange afro, after big bank, I wonder about wearing that thing ANYWHERE in America at this point, outside of Halloween, and not being arrested by Homeland Security/FBI/Local LE. LOL.

Otherwise, my new fav blogger is Killer Martini, who dared write about what poverty is like and is as we speak being trolled relentlessly by rich and poor alike - which she is handling quite capably. I would link it here but my HTML is illiterate. Anyone might take the liberty. This is a story I happened to catch my first week back, right in the Journal.

I also saw, in the same paper I think, that 23andMe had figured out how to make a ton of money by allowing parents to engineer for desired aesthetic traits.

Then this past week I saw that Batkid story creep into all the feeds I spot check like cnn.com, or the feeds in my email or search screens like Google and Stackoverflow that I see incidentally. I noticed there are pictures of cops in the background of those pics, like real cops. The Batkid is ostensibly a spontaneous publicity stunt by a little kid to raise money for cancer research. What are the rules here? What happens if you put you fly to San Francisco, put on your Jenkins orange whig and a colorful outfit, like a joker, and try to get in on this stunt by running up , doing a crazy dance for the Batkid, then pull out a flower and play Joker Jenkins to help with the act? I see those cops back there, what chances do you have to make it out of that alive or uncharged?

Anyway, you know I don't mean you you, more like the royal you.

Ultimately I have found is that the best thing to do is to just kind of laugh about this and keep taking care of business. I've got only play right now, work my ass off and make as much as I can while its still worth making. I envy your position in some ways right now, but provisional envy is another change I'm trying to make to part ways with Black Thoughts from back in the day. What I really mean to say is, just keep kicking ass and making names, but yeah, its a nutty world and ranting about it is all but impossible these days.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06892275632225361907noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1160895395634617774.post-20097348231440921912013-11-24T13:18:48.197-06:002013-11-24T13:18:48.197-06:00Reading this rant again, I'm cautiously hopefu...Reading this rant again, I'm cautiously hopeful about the reported Iran agreement, and the lifting of sanctions. It SEEMS like a bit of good, in the din of apocryphal news. We will see. If I am dubious, it is that I know, that like Bibi (Netanyaho), there are any number of warmongers who are furious, ready to undermine this by any means. It is also unclear to me how inspections will be treated by the West, as legit observation of Iranian works, or the meddling in Iranian affairs, marching around the country lecturing, like the West owns the place. The State said he gave people salmonella once, but it wouldn't be hard for someone to have poisoned his milk to make him a target. The state came to his house at one point and confiscated and then destroyed a few ten thousand dollars worth of his product - even though all his customers support him. The full power of the state was brought down upon him - because he is vocal - to send a message to every other farmer contemplating selling raw milk etc "do it and we will destroy you." What do they do if some big ag biz corporation sickens people? Next to nothing. Police yourselves, is basically the message.

In fact, I was at a discussion with several state congresspeople in the state of Wisconsin, about raw milk, when I heard a gov health bureaucrat state on the record that day care providers who DRINK raw milk can kill children just by touching them. The four hundred supporters of raw milk in the room broke out in gales of laughter.

As for that nuke plant you mention, I would wage too that even if they start building it, they never finish. :)

As for trees, I'm planning to plant three-four more fruit trees in my garden this coming spring - and maybe a hundred more on my employer's property, if they let me.

WHD

William Hunter Duncanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03659156353754825272noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1160895395634617774.post-61754442181543834222013-11-21T08:51:08.928-06:002013-11-21T08:51:08.928-06:00Wow, I have to say that it is baffling and not a l...Wow, I have to say that it is baffling and not a little scary to watch your country turn into what it is turning into. Hardly a day goes by now when I don't hear of some new quasi-fascist ploy to clamp down further on your rights. I was amazed to hear that it is illegal to sell raw milk and products made from unpasteurised milk too. Is that right?

Of course, we have idiots over here trying to force this kind of crap on us too, but it usually gets rejected out of hand. And we also have nuclear madness too. The guvmint is trumpeting a 'nuclear future' and wants to build a new reactor about 100 miles east of where I am. Pure idiocy, of course, and I would even wage money that it won't ever get built because we'll be bankrupt before they've even dug the sod. Saying that, the whole concession has been handed to the Chinese and French, so in theory they could build it whether we want it or not and then charge us for the privilege.

Incidentally, Fukushima IS being reported over here, but usually in a 'gee whizz aren't those scientist/engineers clever' kind of way. I'm not sure which is worse.

I have come up with a new way of not going mad. For every hour that I spend ranting and raving I do two hours of positive stuff, such as planting trees. It helps to keep me sane in an insane world.

Jason Heppenstallhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17886109260870545074noreply@blogger.com
